My baby wasn't able to drink from the bottles even with the slow flow as he was constantly choking and then having to burp because even though he couldn't latch on and suck he was somehow swallowing a ton of air while being drowned by the tremendous flow.

The flow is just right, and it's really easy to hold, for both parent and baby.

So I tried the slow flow which came with the bottles and they were still way to fast and free flowing.

This is a great pack for the older child, though I wish they came with a faster flow nipple as by the time a child is using a larger bottle they need a faster flow!

These are good bottles, but in my opinion the nipples are not "slow flow" enough, so be wary when introducing before 4-6 weeks if your goal is to breastfeed as long as you want to

Pros:- easy to clean- breast to bottle and back is no problem, baby likes the nipples- nipples are easy to interchange between flow types (slow, med, etc)- baby has no latching

We are still using the small hole nipples as she sometimes chokes but you can later purchase the faster flowing holes in the nipples for growing baby.

May have fast flow, sit up baby and practically lay horizontally the bottle until bby starts taking more that will take air start inclining bottle.

The nipple shape may be "closer to nature," but the main issue with these bottles is the flow of the nipples.

We have never had to use a faster flow than that.

At 12 weeks we are just transitioning to slow flow (1) with success

If you're concurrently breastfeeding be sure to stick with the slowest flow nipple so bad by doesn't get used to higher flow and reject the breast

They come standard with slow flow nipples which is their slowest, but it really isn't slow enough for a newborn.
