Other than that the bulb and the whole design is beautiful; I just wish the wood was flush.
-
The bulbs on Amazon were not postage free.
-
My only (very minor) complaint is that it doesn't support higher wattage bulbs.
-
No bulb but awesome lamp, love it!
-
I am using it with the LED bulbs from Amazon, the Ikea E26 LED.
-
I used two new LED bulbs and was able to replicate the problem
-
Also, if you think the wattage limitation means the lamp will be too dim, just get an LED bulb.
-
The lamp also works with small energy efficient light bulbs.
-
If you're using this for reading (on real paper) at night like I am, I would recommend a Halogen bulb, rather than LED
-
At this point it might be ok for light weight bulbs but not CFL or LED bulbs as the weight will still cause them to sag
-
is that you can choose from any style or wattage bulb you want, something not true with LED bulbs
-
I haven't found the right bulbs for the lamp yet, but I bet they will work out fine
-
At first, after 8 months the bulb kept flickering when it's on
-
So far so good, the lamp is pretty and the lighting bulb is good for reading and study.
-
The bulb is equally as important... the first bulb I purchased was way too bright
-
It's quite possible I'd find a higher wattage bulb too bright, but it would be nice to have the option without concern of creating a hazard.
-
Am using it with an E26 (recommended) RYET LED bulb.
-
I am using a pretty small sized 13W bulb, but it seems like the bulb is still too heavy for the lamp to stay in place
-
Combined with an LED edison bulb, this makes a pretty cozy desk lamp.
-
It also couldn't withstand a heavy brighter bulb, so I had to go back and repurchase a lighter bulb so it wouldn't weigh down
-
I have an LED bulb in there with a relatively solid engine (heavy-ish) and it has been holding fine
-
Instead, I used a LED bulb rated for 60 watts; much better light but the LED may have contributed to lamp head weight,
-
I bought an LED edison bulb and it goes really well together (I found one for $2.99 on Amazon with Prime).

We sometimes share laughs about that basic, sad, and gloomy bulb-holder.
