When the second version was just as noisy as the first I returned it and exchanged it for a Garmin -- which is silent
Very easy interface - even without instructions - and is easy to figure out
The watch is easy to use, to set up, and the interface is great
I just find the interface more responsive and intuitive
The Tom Tom Sports Connect is a very easy interface and it connected with Endomondo Premium which I have been using for over six years now like it was nothing
The band, however, has already cracked and broken all the way in just 3 months.
I wish it tracked better for strength training, could be completely managed by the smartphone app and had a more intuitive way to sync music, but otherwise it works very well.
I love the silent alarm on it as I've wanted a silent way to wake up for a long time.
There is no secure way in which to ensure the band stays clipped together.
I love the way it fits and the larger, improved, display
The Runner had everything I needed and at a really good price point
I only gave 3 stars because the gps and heartrate monitor works well, but these are offered by other manufacturers at a better price.
When the second version was just as noisy as the first I returned it and exchanged it for a Garmin -- which is silent
Pros: Price (~$150), GPS and music capability, directional controllerCons: Inability to sync with Google Fit/Apple Health, Music UX - loading music and changing playlistsI felt I had found my holy grail of sports watches - GPS, music, and step counter
I in general don't find watches super comfortable, but don't have any complaints with the comfort of it on a daily basis or while running.
Windows app is actually pretty good; satisfies all my running nerdiness.
GPS seems to work well, and interface/info after a run is great.
If you don't have any, be prepared to spend more money on pair that doesn't get spotty while running (this is the boat I'm in)
The more significant downside to this is that if you do use pace to moderate your running speed you risk overdoing it as the watch makes you believe you run too slower than you can/should
I bought this fitness watch because I read numerous professional reviews that it was tested and the heart rate monitor is as close to an EKG as possible, whereas the FitBit and others had terrible reviews on the accuracy of the heart rate monitor
I bought this based on all the positive reviews, but I'm not happy with it now that I've used it for the past week
When the second version was just as noisy as the first I returned it and exchanged it for a Garmin -- which is silent
I will give a more accurate review later after I have had the watch a
I bought the Spark 3 after reading glowing reviews on just about every running site I looked at
Great product but the battery life is not to impressive.
The charger is fine and the battery life is pretty good
Good general fitness watch, but battery life in GPS mode is lacking
When the second version was just as noisy as the first I returned it and exchanged it for a Garmin -- which is silent
this is great, got it for xmas, first time bluetooth connection was tough due to all the other bluetooth devices in my home, battery life is good, computer portal and app are easy to use
I can not get the device to recognize correctly and their website refuses to allow me even email technical support.
etc.- as a dedicated device, spark is much more expensive.
This is honestly a good device for exactly what it is- a fitness tracker
The device is comfortable and light making it very enjoyable to
I'm wary to wear any smart watch in the pool because it's designed to be more water resistant than water proof, and I just don't want to worry about a fancy electronic device being submerged for longer than its designed to
Over the few months of using the watch two straps have broken (TomTom replaced the
10 months into wearing it, the strap started tearing until it finally broke (see picture)
I did break the original strap after about 6 months of use and purchased a knock off replacement that doesn't fit as nicely as the original, but it's not bad and we'll see how long it holds up.
My older model included an optical sensor from Mio which is very highly regarded and I found to be just as accurate as the chest strap
Even disregarding the broken strap in Fitbit after 3 months of use
10 months into wearing it, the strap started tearing until it finally broke (see picture)
well, here we are 1 month from the date of purchase and it is GONE!
Now just 7 months 2 more rubber spacers broke and then the buckle broke off!!
I would like to see at a glace my number for today, yesterday, maybe last week, last month, so that I can see how I am actually doing.
I have had it a bit over 7 months and the rubber bank that had calibrated sizing started losing its dividers--the first one broke off after 5 months--so the tom tom was either too loose or too tight.
I lost so much interest that I gave up on it and just decided to come back to it days later when I was ready to deal with the confusion
When the second version was just as noisy as the first I returned it and exchanged it for a Garmin -- which is silent
I actually lost interest because it took too long to figure out
