It's slow to pick up GPS and not very accurate.

More accurate, locks GPS faster, and better battery life than any of the previous four Garmin watches I've owned.

I previously owned another GPS watch that had a plastic band and the band for that watch also broke, but after 4 years of use.

But accurate GPS: I am happy with the GPS (albeit it can be slow to start at times) and the linkage it affords to TomTom's website, which allows me to record my progress.
