We have tried other doggie steps for our mini dachshunds and they hated them

My older toy poodle who wouldn't go up anything after a leg surgery, is using these foamy soft steps now

My 3 dachshunds love their new stairs/steps.

These steps allowed him to climb onto my chair without the stress and pounding of hard steps.

This was perfect for our dachshunds since the longer steps are better for their longer bodies.

They work better for our 12 year old Boston mix as she has arthritis and the hard, cardboard steps that are also available were too steep and the steps not deep enough to comfortably step down.

The steps may seem pricey relative to the hard plastic steps but you are getting two sets of stairs so the cost is pretty reasonable.
