The "docket" series is much better quality that the normal versions and worth the extra cost because of the thicker back and better perforations make pages tear out much more cleanly.

These are higher quality than some of the store brands (like Staples) where you can almost see through the paper.

The backing is not at all sturdy, the paper, purporting to be 16 lb., bleeds through, preventing one writing on the reverse as well as on the obverse, there are no perforations at the top and the top binding is so flimsy and carelessly put together, I have all too frequently torn pages out only to wind up with the page itself torn in half rather than just coming away at the top!
