The case is a flimsy plastic

but it's not smooth plastic

It's a hard plastic with a matte finish which gives it a soft texture

It's stiff plastic, not the rubbery type

I expected it to be a solid color plastic all the way through

It is a hard but pliable plastic that snaps around the edges of the phone PERFECTLY

Do not leave it out in the sun at all, or the outer layer will peel off, but the regular plastic is fine

This is a matte finished plastic case, with means the micro texture it has allow air to travel between your fingers and the case - thus, very slick

It feels a little slippery, but it stays in your hand, the plastic feels like good quality, if you have clumsy hands or you are just clumsy in life, do not get this case

I can’t recommend it l, however, for protection if you accidentally drop the phone.

The buttons are covered, but the button covers are easily found by touch, and function as well as if they were not covered

Thin, weightless, enough grab so it doewn’t fall out of your hands but not too “grippy”.
