This thermometer does not show an accurate temperature, it shows an approximate temperature that is below the actual body temperature, misleading whether or not a low grade fever is present.

It appears to be working properly and temperature seems fairly accurate, when I compared it to the thermometer we have that goes in mouth and the other touch less ones they have been using at the doctors offices that we goto in our area
