Programming/Install should take no more than 15 minutes assuming old fob is in good working order.

Not to fear, it is working perfectly after performing the chicken dance which seems intimidating but is fairly easy.

Work's perfect took a few times to get the chicken dance right but after 10 minutes does what it's supposed

Our 2005 Prius which already had a smart key worked fine.

We attempted using the "Chicken Dance" instructions to program, but after multiple attempts, we were only able to get the fob to start the car while in the slot - we were unable to get the smart key functions working.

I haven't gotten the mechanical key cut yet; the smart key works perfectly without it, you just need it if the battery dies which is years away for a new key.

I've yet to get the metal key cut, but the Smart Key fob works perfectly in my 2008 Prius
