So I found this lovely device and thought well why not

The Device worked decently when i first got it

This device works perfectly.

If u have the scenario as me, I highly recommend this device for all of ur device need to access to internet.

Device doesn't get warm either

Which means as soon as you plug it in, your network starts crashing randomly as packets are being routed to the wrong device

I wanted all of the jacks in my house to be active so this wonderful device has come in handy

Good device, but the set-up wasn't the easiest

The 2nd issue I had with this switch is that I had issues getting devices to work for instance my laptop or my desk phone will not get any Internet connection, yet if I un plug from the switch and plug into my router they work

I purchased this product December 2 it’s already experiencing intermittent issues dropping all devices

It supports all network activity and cabled devices perfectly.

A bit more: an unmanaged device like this is great to expand each drop of a managed switch/router.

I also lost my hardwired devices such as the PS4 that I literally had just plugged in

So to summarize, the device stopped working properly

Upgraded from a 10Mb router (which still works) to support upgraded, faster devices.

This little devices is great if you need extra ports for hardwired devices

After a few minutes, all my wireless devices no longer worked.

I prefer to use hardwired connections for all my non-portable network devices.

I needed more ports to keep all my smart home devices on the same network (I have some on Google mesh and some straight on my ISP WiFi).

but I could not get the VLAN to work on my second switch in a media cabinet where I wanted to isolate some IoT devices from my primary network.

this device works flawlessly..

Thru trail and error, I found that before splitting out, to connect to the router / internet provider's line first, since this device will get confused and I would experience connectivity issues

It is like many of the SOHO devices out there, users need inexpensive or low budget ways purchase a device to perform a task, and the company just a poor because "SOHO uses won't know the difference"The only reason I purchased this was the form factor, for a few dollars more you could even get a device made to go in a "machine room", just louder and higher speed backplane

It look like if you isolate the device you can change it to another IP, or to DHCP... then just wait around for it to reset to default some day and crash your network again

Kept thinking it was multicasting on my network from all "smart" devices causing this

They're very light weight, but made of sturdy metal so you can feel the quality of the build and how cold the device is without needing any fans

Furthermore, if the router breaks down, this device will not work either

This device works well and has some neat configuration settings

You can plug other devices but it slows down the internet signal

This is a great device to split the ethernet across those different devices in each room

Easy to setup -- just plug in the source and then plug in all the ethernet cables that go to the smart devices

Plug a device in and it just works, which is expected or its returned.

The Device itself worked great however the customer service is terrible

Also, as soon as I connect this box to the network it also makes all the wireless devices stop working.

I prefer industrial devices over "all plastic" cosmetic switches

So I have one of these hubs located at each of my internet-enabled TVs where there's also other smart devices such as TiVos, Bluray players, and streaming devices like Roku

This device is great except that as a device that supports vlan management, it sucks

I've got good Ethernet usability & devices are working normally

This was about as easy as can be to install and to use...linked right up to my main router, and had no trouble accommodating my devices
