The router actually had slower speeds on the wired ethernet ports than my isp's(not by much) but the wifi has better range and consistency

The speeds of 2.4 Ghz definitely lack and if you use it than I'd suggest getting something better

No matter what setting I changed, how I set the antenna directions, nothing would yield speeds greater that 5Mbps on the 2.4ghz radio.

I was experiencing dropout and slow wireless speed at the far room from the router (previous router Linksys EA4500)

and I see my internet speeds are so much better the speed test shows higher speeds than my last router I am completely satisfied with this purchase.

My netgear speeds slowed down after and year and the highest speed I could get on 100 mb was 40mb

This router was very easy to setup, the speeds it gave thru WiFi were excellent, and that was not a problem

Although it boosted my WiFi speed, it has made my internet connection extremely inconsistent

I suggest coupleing the router with cat 8 cabling you'll get a better connection and more stable speeds.

I absolutely love the speed, the range, the user interface, the app that allows you to set it up and to block certain devices

However, the biggest issue is the WAN port is not connecting to cable modem, or a gig switch at a reasonable speed, like 100Mb nor 1000Mb.
