Best app/site feature is you can kick off or limit time of certain devices on wifi

Save your money, don't buy this one--or if you buy it and something goes wrong, scrap it--your time and aggravation are more valuable than this router is worth

This thing had a very hard time communicating with my router

Updating stars to '2' until I gain time with the 'fixes'.Final Update: Updated the firmware but same issues persisted with flaky WiFi for streaming Netflix on the TV

I bought one and half year ago, since about month ago wifi connection started dropping signal, I replaced with DD-wrt firmware after I read forum ,but a lot of trouble with wired connection,after spent quite some time to fix it but failed, reverted to stock firmware

After 2 years of use, my 5GHZ wifi network doesn't work, the signal is Poor all the time

My apartment has thick walls so the wifi has a hard time reaching to our bedroom from where its set up in the living room

Do not purchase Works for a month Than drops internet all the time Support is a joke

I looked at the reviews about it not working or had a hard time setting it up?

This is the second time I've tried this router and both times it's crapped out on me

Arrived in a prompt time frame and was easy to set up.

More importantly, my wife frequently hosts webinars and she had problems with streaming the first time she used this router.

Such a hassle as the timing couldn't have been worse. not reliable

But nice to have the video which I must have had to repeat 50 times before it sunk in.

This time around my work laptop refused to connect to wifi.

I blamed some time the bugs reported from Chrome and the cache data, and/or windows 10 frozen bug, etc.

I don't like to be the guy giving 1 star reviews but this thing has gotten my blood boiling more times than I can count

Pretty much every time it connected the whole network would crash and need a power cycle

Stops working too many times each day

Every time I set up a guest access it kills the whole system

( how frequently I'm experiencing this problem : almost every time.)I cannot return it after one month of use , so will have to buy a newer version soon and most likely different brand.

I have try resetting the device several times a week and it works for only 2 hours and needs to be reconfigured

It's only issues is time as it's become outdated

I had an old Tenda N600 router that was my gem for a few years, and it recently started going kaput, randomly dropping out almost a dozen times a day in some cases, and would ruin games I would be running at the time

We had a hard time getting our WiFi to reach the entire length of our railway apartment but this little guy gave us the easy boost we needed

Called their tech support and spoke with several support people but had a difficult time understanding their heavy foreign accents.

Don't waste your time with this TP-Link unit -- look to Amped Wireless, Apple, or another brand.

I bought this because my router has a hard time getting the signal to my back bedroom

BUT, I have lost 2.4ghz wifi connections 3 times causing a considerable loss of time on my part

Each time the only cure was a reboot of the TP-Link to restore connectivity

This continued for about 30 minutes until by some miracle I got into a chat with an agent after entering my info for like the 10th time

We struggled with slow internet and called our provider support several times over the last 2 years

Well, it rejected my password multiple times

It loses connection every time I am on my laptop and I am only in the room next door

I've called my internet service provider multiple times about this problem and they would blame the router, saying that because it wasn't theirs they couldn't ensure its quality and it is likely at fault for our slow internet

I was in chat with tp-link support for a couple of hours (3 different techs, 4 different sessions), thanks to my losing connectivity during our chat sessions and having to wait in the queue each time (and losing connection while in the queue)

/features (port forwarding, VPN, remote access), is pretty fast both wired and wireless and can stay up for a very long time supporting working, HD streaming and gaming with no issues.

this item caused more harm than good, it interfered with other devices and our cable television service, took us some time before a technician identified the problem, we thought it was our internet provider, but it turned out to be the extender.

Unplugging from the power for 10 seconds resets it and does the trick 9/10 times

Not worth the time and effort to get it replace.

I have had the worst time keeping devices connected to this router.

I bought this router back in November 2015 and I t was phenomenal.
