    TP-Link AC3150 Wireless Wi-Fi Router - High Performance Wave 2 Wi-Fi 4K Streaming Gaming (Archer C3150 V2)

    • I saw USB3 but its not enabled to use my hard drive
    • The read and write speeds on my USB hard drive
    • The USB port, which I used for an external hard drive for storage and file sharing across multiple devices DOES NOT WORK
    • Setting up home network with attached hard drive is as easy as it is with apple products
    • It boasts 2.4 Ghz and 5 Ghz channels, two ports USB (2.0 and 3.0) you can create your own personal network cloud with an external storage hard drive
    • You may connect external hard drives and/or printers to share in your network
    • For $200 I would have thought 4 LAN jacks and Printer/Hard drive support on the USB jack would have been standard
    • It's easy to set up and operate, but the USB port is not in operation - you cannot connect an external hard drive
    • This way, you can easily connect and disconnect external hard-drives/ethernet cables/printers/etc
    • It has been a few weeks, and it does seem to 'just work'.One caveat, there is no USB port sharing, so if you had a printer or hard drive shared through your router, you'll need to find another solution, or a router that fits your needs
    • I run a Desktop I7 32gb Ram and two 2TB hard drives, every part I have upgraded from my power supply to my 3gb video card and my excellent sound card, I also have two laptops, both ASUS, one a Chrome, my wife has her ASUS laptop, we run three ROKU devices, one in my garage strictly for my Pandora music

    • coverage of the 2.4 GHz band is very good and the 5GHz is good, but it is a limitation of the waves properties, not of the router itself.-I connected my external hard drive to the USB 3.0 port and was recognized
    • I suppose it could be due to the hard drive's transfer right
    • I still remember a D-Link unit I had about 10 years ago that would overheat in the summer months and reboot over and over
    • The bad - I've been wanting to assign static IP's to a couple of devices that are hardwired via a switch I have connected, but when looking at the network and trying to find which Mac address is assigned to what device, the current UI refreshes the list every time you look at a device then go back
