I have not tested whether WOL packets will traverse the VPN.If you already have a router that you like, but need a good wireless access point, this device would fit the bill

The worst part about this router is that when you set a password for it, it will randomly change the router password without your knowledge or confirmation requiring you to reset it just to gain access to your router settings, so make a backup of your settings so after a reset you can restore your settings the way you had it.

No problems, working as it should, speeds are not bad.
