    TP-Link AC5400 Wireless Tri-Band Wi-Fi Router (Archer C5400)

    • When the internet was not working I clicked on the app to trouble shoot the problem but because there was no internet the app wouldn't work
    • You know there is a big problem when even the wired connections are not working much less the WIFI
    • I ignored the problem as the other 5GHz channel and the 2.4GHz one were working fine
    • Like many, i also had the problem with 2.4ghz and one of the 5ghz band stop working
    • Great unit no problems, easy to set up
    • Then the same problem again.... I cannot recommend to buy this product
    • As someone who has always purchased top of line routers, most of the time more expensive than the OnHub, I have quite a bit of experience with router settings as well as router problems.
    • I have read other reviews concerning this problem, but I blew it off.
    • Google also provides very helpful telephone support (the issue I called about turned out was in the end a problem with another device on the network and was easily fixed).
    • TP-LINK seems to be the type of company that releases garbage code then moves on to the next product, ignoring problems with previous firmware releases.
    • and it seems to work fine, no problems
    • Overall, I have enjoyed several years of good router models with TP-Link, so this problem set is abnormal for TP-Link; however, bad firmware updates are a deal breaker for any router and TP-Link's inability (or incompetence) in releasing faulty software with no solution (retrograde firmware fix for one) is unacceptable.
    • If they fix this terrible problem within a timely matter, I may review it again
    • Crowded networks problem solved
    • is a design when the built in help menu list this problem in the top 4 items, "Stuck in Setup"
    • But with OnHub, the signal strength became unbelievably strong immediately - no problem or buffering even when multiple devices were connected simultaneously - streaming tv, music, VoIP, phones, tablets and laptops
    • When you are paying your ISP upwards of 300 dollars a month for cable, phone and internet, I feel like these problems are not something a consumer should have to deal with
    • Not just because the AC5400 outperforms the WRT 3200 (it should, and the Linksys EA9500 is the more direct comparison against this particular TP-LINK router) but because Linksys products continue to be plagued by bizarre and annoying technical problems
    • This fixed my weak signal problems
    • I don't feel that this product really is worth the investment; I should have stuck with my inexpensive b/g/n wireless router flashed with DD-WRT which definitely got the job done, if not a little slower than the OnHub, at least consistently and with customization options.
