Another key thing to think about is the dual bands on the 5Ghz which means that if you have a lot of devices 20+ you will not have issues with providing good quality service to all of them (this router will help to provide the correct bandwidth to the device when is needed, for instance your phone while your are just web browsing will be in 2.4 mode, but if you are watching a movie it will try to go to 5ghz if the range is good enough, again most people will never notice the difference)

The main issues I experienced with my Airport Extreme were that although the range was decent, actual throughput became abysmal at ~1-2 bars connectivity strength, the router itself was only configurable (and even then, barely so) using a computer, and the white, minimalist physical design of the router clashed with everything else in my home

I don't see why ppl will want this C5400 if it doesn't have more features than the competition or equal too in options, the firmware does have its limitations also for the class this router is in also, many other routers in this class have alot more features (bandwidth speed, deep packet inspection, faster USB transfer speed on router ports, 3G/4G USB Dongle and Cloud Managing, just to name a few)

Because of the forced shared SSID on both bands, I have connectivity issues on the limits of the range of the 5G band where my devices refuse to switch to 2.4G band
