Loses speed constantly

We do not need any bells and whistles on our router nor are we trying to push some crazy speeds to every corner of our property so this unit fit our basic needs perfectly

Speed is very slow, even though it says that it supports up to 450 MBPS it only went up to 45 MBPS with my network

The N300 was super slow and I would highly recommend this product (price point & speed)

The only time you would ever benefit the 450Mbps speed is by streaming or transferring files between wireless devices.

If you consider buying a good router, you really need to spend something above $60 to have quality dual-band wifi and promising ethernet speed.

Not sound logic, but I figured I'd try the same after years of purchasing high end modelsAlthough the tp-link is not gigabit, most internet providers can't provide a speed faster than the tp-link can handle

2.4Ghz range is very good and 5Ghz speed is amazing(My full 200Mb/s!), but it doesn't go very far
