The range is disappointing
-
I'm amazed at how good of a AP this is for the price, I have two houses on our property with about 300 feet between then, we used to have an RT-66U for the routers at both houses, however we have since then switched to a dedicated router with one of these at each house for AP purposes, and the range on these is fantastic for the price
-
Easy setup and good range
-
I wanted a range extender for my router and this item works perfect

Was actually upgraded to the TL-WA901ND for free by the seller! The access point is amazing for the price and the seller MobilePC is the BEST!The setup and configuration was a snap, and the range is outstanding.
-
While it has great range and features for a home AP, it has either heat or software issues
-
My favorite long range repeater
-
Repeater mode is not reliable (often offline, when main connection just fine)As a transmitter, its range is relatively poor.
-
This one has great range, important for a big multi-story house.

i love it, the range of wifi is great

I don't love having to use java-based software on my PC, which the Ubiquiti UniFi configuration tool uses, but that was easily overlooked to have an access point that works, always works, amazing long-range coverage, and aesthetically beautiful hiding in the ceiling corner.
-
It was very easy to set up and and it has good range.
-
The entire house is getting excellent signal with 5 bars and the range is amazing.
-
I was disappointed that it did not give me any better range

Going to need one of these to plug into the router side of wifi networks for long range wireless support that actually works decent and easily.
-
They are cheap but they do exactly what they're supposed to, and the range and speed is amazing

Finally the range and speed of this seemed really good to me, much better than either the old TP-LINKs I had or any of the 2 or 3 year old AP's I had from D-LINK, Cisco, Motorola, etc
-
Range is very poor.
-
The range isn't as spectacular as I had hoped, but it is longer than my Cisco pancake style one
-
Other than that the range is excellent and it works well.
-
The range is no better than the older units we replaced, but the throughput is much improved
-
Quite easy to configure and good power range
-
DD-WRT.This AP has much, much better signal strength and range than my router's built-in AP had.
-
so both devices should be "N"the range is good and the speed is N like any
-
Easy to configure, good range, what I needed to extend my network
-
The range of this WAP is fantastic
-
Just remember one very important point that I am sure many of the people who posted a review claiming this had poor range, would not connect, or needed to be rebooted often just do not realize
-
I like the range though its great
-
So far it seems to be doing well, range is good, speed is good, and it regularly handles dozens of simultaneous connections.
-
It has a much better range than my wireless router

Easy, works great, good range.

We chalk the good range up to the 4dBi amplified antennas, and like the fact that if we want even better range we can upgrade the amplified antennas to 7 or 9 dBi with a Third party antenna for under $15.00
-

It has pretty decent range too but for $5 more the 801 is a better deal.
-
I have tried everything but this thing refuses to play nice with my existing TP-Link router (TL-WR1043ND R)
-
My TP-LINK Access Point allows me the use of Netflix and other applications on my tv without any disruptions, as well as internet service to my PC and my tablets; it works as I had hoped
-
The DHCP function on this WAP does not work as it should, at least IMO.
-
I'm very familiar using these types of access points for remote monitoring of our power equipment, as they do fail after a time and need replacing
-
This product was easy to set up and worked exactly as it was described, It's very versatile with many different functional modes
-
G access point, which still works fine but since we only stream TV shows and movies
