The range is disappointing

I'm amazed at how good of a AP this is for the price, I have two houses on our property with about 300 feet between then, we used to have an RT-66U for the routers at both houses, however we have since then switched to a dedicated router with one of these at each house for AP purposes, and the range on these is fantastic for the price

My favorite long range repeater

Repeater mode is not reliable (often offline, when main connection just fine)As a transmitter, its range is relatively poor.

This one has great range, important for a big multi-story house.

I don't love having to use java-based software on my PC, which the Ubiquiti UniFi configuration tool uses, but that was easily overlooked to have an access point that works, always works, amazing long-range coverage, and aesthetically beautiful hiding in the ceiling corner.

We chalk the good range up to the 4dBi amplified antennas, and like the fact that if we want even better range we can upgrade the amplified antennas to 7 or 9 dBi with a Third party antenna for under $15.00

I have tried everything but this thing refuses to play nice with my existing TP-Link router (TL-WR1043ND R)

My TP-LINK Access Point allows me the use of Netflix and other applications on my tv without any disruptions, as well as internet service to my PC and my tablets; it works as I had hoped

The DHCP function on this WAP does not work as it should, at least IMO.

I'm very familiar using these types of access points for remote monitoring of our power equipment, as they do fail after a time and need replacing
