The work, they don't get hot, only very, very slightly warm-- which you'd expect- almost nominal.

It does not stay plugged in very well to any outlet and it has an annoying blue light that I didn't read about that is decently bright at night

The 2 prong plug is retractable for traveling, and the unit has a blue light indicator to show power (I like it a lot, but some say it disturbs their sleep) - Apple & many OEM charges have no power indicator
