Lots of important meaningful data down the tubes....

The data on the drive was lost, and the drive itself became unusable

Problems began as occasional corrupted data and progressed to where the drive is detected but not recognized by Windows 7.

When the product becomes unrecognized, I lose my data, which is exactly what I was trying to avoid when I purchased this product

So sad I purchased this tying to think it would help me avoid losing my important data

After having a portable HDD that got damaged after first drop, this device is a must if you don't want your data eventually get lost
