If the manufacturer contacts me and can exchange my defective reader with a properly working model I'll re-review this product

This works great for being able to read multiple card types

Oh well, it works but be warned it fits in that way if you buy one

a half dozen SD cards that I'd used previously and all were/are in good working order.
