They are pretty strong, I personally would have needed scissors, but if any of you are hoping to use these for intense children or those with other disorders that would cause them to do exactly as my child did, these will not work for you

We use them at the airport, amusement parks, the fair, etc…anywhere there is going to be a big crowd and you have fear of loosing your child.
