Additionally, the tightening clamp at the microphone end didn't tighten, which is crucial for proper microphone placement

so it just sunk to the table, which made my microphone hit the table pretty hard and maybe even damaged it

Pretty solid microphone stand

I am using a Blue Snowball Ice microphone and its a heavy bulky microphone and seems to make the arm sag downwards

It's a fair microphone boom, but I've met toddlers with better grip.

The pull distance (to fasten the microphone in) is very minimal and I felt at numerous times would snap as I was attempting to secure my microphone

The clamps are awful, they don’t tighten up all the way without messing up the the stand, and your microphone will continue to fall down 24/7

Don't buy this if you have a half decent microphone, make sure to buy something a bit more expensive.
