It's sped up my whole network as I'm no longer draining my wireless to those points.

Wireless was spotty when trying to connect and I wanted a wired solution

It does have a wired ethernet port, but our TV was using the only jack, because I really don't like wireless for anything except tablets and phones.

Wireless wasn't reliable enough for my needs and Powerline adapters topped out at <10Mbps

-)I hate wireless because the speeds just don't live up to what is necessary in data transfer.

Wireless too slow and intermittent.
