Nice long cord (that it turned out I didn't need) and the vertical plug alignment lets multiple things fit in without taking up extra space.

The cord was long enough for what I needed.

They allow a good number of appliances to be plugged in, have a long-enough cord, and the lighted on-off switch is handy.

The short cord is great in this situation (2 feet long) as nothing gets tangled.

It does have a short cord but the description indicated that and we bought it knowing that we would have less cumbersome cords when not needed.

However the only disadvantage is the short cord
