1 of 3 units failed with in 1 month, only outlets that work are the surge, battery outlets do not work at all

Be advised if you have a plasma TV like me, you will need a more powerful unit than this one

So it is see you don't need big expensive units to back up most stuff around the house.

I'm happy with Tripp Lite, just not that particular unit.

So I called tech support and after they had me try a couple of tasks they agreed the unit was defective and arranged to send out a replacement new unit at no charge.

My unit is quiet and efficient.

Why Tripp-Lite is marketing this unit as 'green' is a mystery to me as the battery is not replaceable once it fails - a fact confirmed by telephone to Tripp-Lite Pre-Sales Technical Support ( 773.869.1234).

This is the only UPS model by Tripp-Lite I've ever used and after two units showing problems in less than a year I think I'll stay away from them

Tripplite is sending a warranty replacement unit and is not requiring I return the dead unit to them
