Purchased this for a gator case that houses my outside theater electronics... didn't need 14 outlets but purchased based on the surge protection, cord length, lighting and price

Have yet for any surge protection component to trip yet.

Looks good in my case, can't speak to the surge protection quality and hope I never have to... would recommend it to a friend
