Great stand

The stand is very sturdy in the beginning but does decrease a tiny bit with lots of movement and use

I could see if it's free standing, that it might be a little springy, but would probably be fine if you don't need to touch the screen a lot

This stand is good except that it will not hold a large or xlarge tablet

I'd recommend the tablet stand if the surface is flat, smooth and doesn't move.

It supports the weight of the iPad but just make sure you do an S curve with the neck like they recommend in the manual
