It's slightly soft to the touch without being squishy, a perfect thickness, I love the retractable eraser because it doesn't break off, and it writes really really well

The grip is comfy, the eraser is robust and SOOOO easy to extend/retract and replace.

The pencil is refillable with any .7 lead and the erasers are easy to refill too

This makes it so that your hand wouldn't hurt in a extended writing session (as with hard plastic), but still offers maximum control.- Its "twist retractable eraser" is only found on a few pencils
