This does the trick, couldn't be happier.

Only downside, it does look a little big but its a very sturdy armband.

It has definitely kept my phone secure, while galloping, so it does have its positives.

it does have venting at the bottom, which make help a bit, I have the commuter case on my galaxy S3 and it fits nicely

This armband really does not support the Gallaxy s3 because the holes are at the opposite end of the band.

The arm band is very comfortable when I am running, and does not slip or fall.
