The top metal piece is slightly tilted up...but the way it's oriented in the stand itself, it's angled down, so the bar being curved up basically makes it parallel to the table.

The main issue i have with it is that the detachable metal "feet" on the bottom allow for too much wiggle room and the weight of my headset causes it to pull down the whole thing

The slick metal can allow them to slide.

Also it sits at an angle such that sometimes my headset slides off the top metal piece on a level surface

Works as it is supposed to - good buy.
