The watch was difficult to get in the new band but after I got it in it worked better than the original due to you don't have to take the watch out of the band to charge it.
It hugs the watch very snuggly so be careful when removing it to charge it

I seem to be going against the majority here, but I did not like this band
The bands also make my wrist a little itchy, which the original never did
Firstly, the circular band that holds the end of the strap in is very loose and slides around all the time
The band feels delicate like I could tear it if I pulled too hard when I'm putting it on, but it hasn't ripped yet and I've owned it nearly a month now
I found the original band to be a bit more comfortable, but for the price this is definitely a winner
