Quality air locks are extremely important and these work great!

The other one works great, but they are definitely fragile.

the air locks are fine but the bung isnt even close to fitting my 6 gallon carboy mine is plastic but never the less it says fits all secondary fermenters

The air locks are fine, but the bungs are too wide at the bottom to fit in a standard 1 gal carboy or the 1/2 gal cider jars from the store.

But, I’m using the air locks with #6 drilled stoppers and they work fine.

the shipping success rate is 50% according to me so far.

Because of its rigidity, it is very hard to get a secure seal.

Only gripe I have is you should trim the plastic flashing at the seam on the lower end to make a better seal in the bung

They are not rubber, but some kind of plastic that doesn't make a good seal, and actually pushes itself up out of the neck of the carboy

but, that plastic flex a bit do make sure you have a good seal.

Bugs won't stay sealed, so they're useless to me

Plus the airlocks are extremely thin plastic, and probably will crack and split within a few uses.

The reason I purchased this airlock as opposed to another I was considering is because I thought the carboy bung would be best for my use

The airlocks seem fine but the stoppers do not fit a normal gallon jug.

The bungs are a hard plastic and not rubber, so they really don't flex or fit in anything.

Made of hard plastic, not rubber has no flex ability to be used as a stopper.

Used these to make hard cider in half gallon apple juice containers...worked great

I like the airlocks in general and they look cool as the cider does its magic

I use them for making hard apple cider, they are perfect fit the price.
