The other 8 radios and chargers work just fine.

but if you're actually trying to get a high quality, portable unit that is dead simple and works beautifully with the newer digital Samcom home intercoms.. these little radios are great

So again.. these radios do something that is either overly difficult or impossible on non-Samcom GMRS HT radios

A word to the wise, those radios are illegal to use or to sell in the US...buy / use them at your own risk

The only things these radios lacked (why I gave a 4 star instead of 5) might be a micro-USB charge jack (use my phone/tablet USB chargers).. and maybe a "lock" button to lock out channel and menu config changes

Good long range radio these are good heavy duty radios

You won't see this even on the nicer quality GMRS radios

The radios also came with a standard-ish looking microphone/earpiece that looks what you would get on a nice ham radio (one piece, two plug receptacle)

It can all be programmed into a GMRS radio easy enough (for me anyway), but the display is still not very intuitive (for my wife and kids at least) as Ch-1, Ch-2 Ch-3

Yes, you can get better quality radios, but you will spend a lot more money to get them

These handhold radios are so cool ,this is the first time to see "The Group Talk " function in two way radio

Not as cheap as what you see on cheaper HTs like cheap Baofeng Chinese radios (which I like
