The dynamic range was quashed and there was muddy

I got what I was looking for - a nicely designed and made phono pre-amp that is a very nice step above entry level without getting into a ridiculous price range

I've been running a premium Ortofron Blue stylus and MM cartridge (2-25,00 Hz dynamic range) in an Audio Technica LP 120 turntable with very satisfied results using the phono's inboard preamp

But I can't ignore the 20-25,000 hz dynamic range trying to reproduce through the U-Turn preamp with a top end of 20,000 Hz.
