I have it installed on the side of the toilet and my toddler can reach easily his potty seat and is good quality and space saver for those 1/2 bathrooms

Apparently, we have a weird shaped toilet, so we can’t put the cover on it if we use the hook

It may be too big for your toilet tank cover and/or kid’s potty seat, but it beats having the potty seat on the floor when a non-toddler needs to use the bathroom
