If you want a Unifi controller compatible device you need the Ubiquity Unifi firewall, and a hub, which is a $100 or so more expensive.

Otherwise, this device is pretty transparent and you can configure it for all sorts of different functionality

While this is a powerful and compact device at a good price, it requires a fair amount of knowledge about networking
