You are still going to need a router to act as a DHCP server to issue IP addresses to all your wired & wireless devices

As a final step I set the AC-LITE's ip to a static address on my wired router then verified I could log in via ssh and list attached mac addresses using the mca-dump command

It was simple enough to get the up and running even assigning Static IP addresses.

So the only way I could get it to work was through a static IP address.

Works exactly as I expected

It will broadcast 1 SSID for 2.4 and 5ghz so your users arent confused as to what they should be connecting to and have many other features you normally have to pay a lot for (IE load balancing, the ability to charge for access and very detailed information on
