    • Had the same issue with the UniFi AP after some time and thought this hardware upgrade would help.
    • Don't expect this to outperform a high end consumer AP, it's still 2x2, whereas a high end ASUS is 3x3 and you'll see significant throughput differences

    • The AP works well for what it does, but should you ever decide to switch over from the individual injectors to a PoE switch, the EdgeSwitch and UniFi PoE switches will murder this AP by activating the "protection" circuit when the automatic 48V "detection" tries to determine if the device needs PoE. One can turn off the PoE auto-detection beforehand, which kind of defeats the purpose of having a switch that autodetects PoE requirements
    • Someone has to have a reliable AP out there.
    • This AP also lacks a web interface so you cannot make changes to the AP without either the controller software or iOS/Android App

    • It will broadcast 1 SSID for 2.4 and 5ghz so your users arent confused as to what they should be connecting to and have many other features you normally have to pay a lot for (IE load balancing, the ability to charge for access and very detailed information on
