    Ubiquiti Unifi Ap-AC Lite - Wireless Access Point - 802.11 B/A/G/n/AC (UAPACLITEUS)

    • Finally!!!My devices are all working well and speed is so, so nice to have
    • Great device that just keeps performing with little to no interaction
    • The device was easy to install and the I liked the management capabilities; however the range is horrible
    • Awesome device for fixing Wi-Fi issues with range, stability and management
    • Forums show this is a fairly common issue with these devices -- dead after the PoE is stopped and then started again
    • I like the device and believe that it's an awesome tool for enterprise needs and those that have the know how to make it an effective WAP in the home setting
    • The UniFi puts out a strong signal in both the 2.4G and 5G bands, and my devices are working at full speed in the bedroom when they would previously lose connection
    • I used the Unifi device discovery app to see if it could find device -- no luck
    • Great device.
    • The device itself is perfect
    • even on enterprise level , this device works great
    • It appears that Ubiquiti continues to support its older devices.
    • However, before purchasing, I would encourage you to ensure that your wireless devices are 5Ghz compatible as this is probably where your speed boost will come from, otherwise I fear you may set yourself up for disappointment
    • This AP appears to be a great device and only time will tell for sure.
    • It's certainly a cool device
    • This device works great for my vlan segmented network and when installed on the ceiling of the upper floor, it is not even noticed once I turn off the indicator led, during normal operations.
    • The device remains working rock solid.
    • These devices get hot.
    • Once configured, you're given additional settings to set up guest access, hotspot connectivity, or just a simple secured device
    • The UniFi puts out a strong signal in both the 2.4G and 5G bands, and my devices are working at full speed in the bedroom when they would previously lose connection
    • The app provides insight into which devices are connected and allows you to block devices as well
    • Performance is great and maxes out all of my 802.11n and 802.11ac devices although it's worth mentioning my devices aren't top of the line either, I'm going to buy a more expensive but higher rated 802.11ac PCIe card to see if I can improve wireless performance over the ~90Mbps I'm seeing on my $35 card (200-300Mbps when in the same room as this access point)
    • Awesome device for fixing Wi-Fi issues with range, stability and management
    • Unifi Ap-AC Lite was 200 / 200 while GF box was pushing more than 500 / 500.If you deploy tens of these to cover large area and don't really care about 1Gbps wireless speeds, this could be the perfect device
    • I did configure the 5ghz network to use a separate SSID--I don't think devices are smart enough to make the best choice yet.
    • But all in all a wonderful device.
    • These access points provide the capability to exercise a little more control over your network than regular consumer-grade WAP: I have three different SSIDs - one for parents and critical devices such as our AppleTV and big-screen TV, one for the kids, and one for infrastructure devices such as security cameras and smoke detectors.
    • This is a great device
    • I will be purchasing and recommending these devices to my IT peers.
    • If this had a button, it would have been a perfect device, as is it's not a great for custom firmware, especially if you aren't very technical
    • I highly recommend these devices, but also recommend a little research and forethought as set-up by a novice might prove somewhat difficult
