That said, I went to a static IP and tweeked stuff

It was simple enough to get the up and running even assigning Static IP addresses.

Also used a Linux server as a router with hundreds of customers using terabytes of data and static IP's and it was ROCK SOLID

So the only way I could get it to work was through a static IP address.

You should limited your IP to max at 100 on each subnet
