I would definitely recommend spending a little more money and getting a better quality cord.

Good quality but way too thick and doesn't bend enough for me to use it for off camera monitor.

its just as easy to by a good quality HDMI cable and coil it yourself using a heat gun.

I only have one device in my entire house that uses a mini and that is my RaspberryPi2, and this works very well with it

I could have bought a Mini Display Port to HDMI cable which would have worked probably just as well, but this cable was cheaper and works.

Cable ends are not bulky and wire is flexible.
