Throw the controller away cuz u are fooling yourself if u think u have control.

I opened up the controller and the trim option is actually missing from the circuit board

controller is a lie ,the controller has no forward or reverse adjustment

but I got sent a bad controller

Start the controller... throttle down and up and down again

The controller appears to lose signal as well.
