I ordered a refurbished one, battery life sucks!

Just 5 minutes ago, the unit had been off for over an hour... and then all of a sudden it made the power-up noise and the power light was on, without me having touched anything (it was just sitting there on my desk).The UE Megaboom itself is great otherwise: nice sound, awesome battery life, and waterproof as advertised

The battery life is completely unacceptable (maybe 3 hours max) and if you plug it in (which is hard to do) you have to stand it on it's head or side - absurd.

Also, the battery life is great.

The bass is insane and its battery life is wonderful

What disappointed me the most was the battery life; the Megaboom boast a 20 hour battery life, but at best we got about 1/2 that out of a full charge; decent, but no where near what UE claims.

Good sound, battery life, experiencing no problems at all.

Battery life lasted half an hour, tops before fading out (even though it said 80%)

I have been through several brands and I settled on UE for performance, clarity, battery life

Phone calls are very clear and battery life is excellent

I'm so bummed because one of my draws to this speaker was how great the battery life was

However, I have had it for under six months, and do not use it very frequently (only about once a week for a few hours) and the battery life is terrible

It gets thrown around from place to place, falls, gets wet and still sounds just as good as when it arrived.
