Adapter that doesn't support speeds near as fast as my network can handle, and had no onboard LAN Adapter
-
Wifi in my basement would sometimes lose some speed but after switching to this adapter I have been able to play online with no lag or slow down at all
-
with drastically better speeds then with the wired connection that works when it decides too
-
But I can confirm it is capable of the top speeds it promises!
-
Does great at its job, fast transfer speeds on windows machinesCons: not compatible with raspberry piThe network speeds I got were almost identical to the onboard 100Mbit ethernet port on the Pi.
-
Getting much better speeds and latency hard wired.
-
Noticed faster speeds (obviously) over ethernet than wifi without signal drops.
-
slow speeds on nintendo switch
-
that I've read in other reviews, but the speeds are good enough
-
I bought this because my Nintendo switch was getting slow wifi speeds
-
Great download speeds
-
This causes the Switch to warm up a little, so make sure you have proper ventilation, otherwise use an adapter if you can, the consistent speeds are worth it, because the Switch's NIC/antenna hardware is atrocious.
-
I was getting horrible internet speed on my Nintendo
-
Provides good speeds to the Nintendo Switch.
-
Not the fastest speeds, but I may have used a cat 5 cable instead of cat 6.
-
Got this because my laptop's Ethernet interface only supports up to 100MB speeds which was annoying as I was getting Verizion FIOS service.
-
Getting much better speeds and latency hard wired.
-
I plugged it into one of the USB ports on my Nintendo Switch Dock and it worked instantly with faster speeds than my wireless network!
-
This way I get good download speeds for when I am downloading a digital purchase.
-
Slow speed on PC and Nintendo Switch.
-
I use this for my Switch because the speed of the WiFi is garbage
-
If you buy this, I STRONGLY recommend buying CAT6, 6e or 7 cables to get the best speeds with this device.
-
Super fast speeds now!
-
(EC1000S)And I put them into 3 laptops that were each acting as the primary router for 3 separate internet connections.(All modems were +-2db power level, all ethernet cables are cat6 and verified with iperf3, I mention this to explain that these adapters were the only significant difference between the laptops.)Now 1 month later I'm finding ONLY the ExpressCard gives me consistent speeds: 51, 54, 56, 56, 47, 45, 55, 49, 49

Improved download speed
-
Purpose of the device was to increase download speeds since we lose internet speed when we use wifi connection
