Speed was all the time 3G, good enough for Google Map and some booking apps.

It had great internet speeds in both countries and didn't require any activation; I just popped it into my iPhone (after sending an unlock request to my carrier – your phone must be unlocked to use this SIM card) and it was ready to go

In terms of speed, its not like high speed wifi but it definitely gets basic things done and keeps you connected
