I just compared it to a beats pill+, which is actually, physically a heavy little unit, which definitley has more rich bass, but NOT louder than the ue boom 2, in fact slightly less loud.
-
For the price this speaker has fantastic sound and bass
-
That bass is ridiculous
-
Nice rich bass that provides depth to music is sorely lacking even when I adjust the "equalizer" within the app.
-
Bass is lackluster and leaves a lot to be desired
-
The best speaker, good sound, amazing feature to sync your sound when using several devices, tried it with three others, music in sync, good volume and bass.
-
Great great great speaker, super loud, the bass its
-
The sound quality is awesome with great bass
-
Good battery life and very deep bass for a small speaker.
-
The bass is not necessary loud but it is very ok for the size!
-
My only concern is the bass is good but not great.
-
It's very loud and had great bass.
-
No distortion, great bass but not to overpower mid and trebles
-
bass is awesome bought one for my father and i
-
Being water proof it has good bass, not great bass
-
decent bass for its size.. good battery life
-
The Boom puts out a lot more bass and punchier mids at anything above roughly half volume, but it really should considering it costs as much as 5 of those!
-
Those who want soothing experience will just love this speaker while those who are bass hungry may want to give it a miss
-
The bass is good, the treble is lacking.
-
great for listening to music at quiet to moderate levels, not much bass or treble though once you go above about 70% volume
-
Shallow bass and the overall sound is more focussed on mid range - something one can get with a $30 speaker
-
It really does have a nice Bass, and it goes really loud
-
Advertised as having great bass
-
Great great great speaker, super loud, the bass its
-
Bass is terrible for the price being paid
-
Sound quality is great, with good highs and moderate bass (keeping in mind this is about the size of a small water bottle, so don't expect booming bass)
-
High max volume and very good bass.
-
Nice rich bass that provides depth to music is sorely lacking even when I adjust the "equalizer" within the app.
-
It’s not too tin-ie and has some great bass
-
The sound output off my phone itself is louder than the speaker, and the bass in the speaker is terrible.
-
I travel a lot and this speaker is durable, light, water resistant and has great sound/bass quality
-
well made and designed but not much bass
-
The speaker has great bass for its size and compared to my grandads jbl charge three, is just as loud but a bit smaller
-
It's super loud, has very rich bass, I guess I have to stop being a tightwad and shell out the extra dough for it's bigger brother.
-
It took me a week to decide that this constitutes a tie for me, but most people would likely prefer the bigger bass of the JBL
-
No distortion, great bass but not to overpower mid and trebles
-
The sound is amazing and the bass is loud
-
I love the speaker, nice bass, sound and nice sized also... however the battery life doesn't last at all,
-
This speaker has a great sound quality with great bass and the best design
-
Another is good for vocals, but bass is muddy and muffled.
-
Love it, was a gift but use it at home often, great sound quality, deep bass, and like the remote power on feature as well as frequent updates.
-
In that large of a room the bass is not powerful like with my 100 watt eco-x (which I also own
-
The bass is incredible, and I love the range of the volume
-
The JBL Charge 2+ has subwoofers on its sides that result in deep, loud, noticeable bass
-
The bass was no better than any other portable speaker of that size that I have purchased
-
Bass is great
-
The bass is rich and deep, but some mids and vocals can be muddled depending on the genre/song
-
Very loud and clear with good bass.
-
Also the Wonderboom, its kid brother has less bass but still outperforms it because of the clarity and soumd quality
-
and WOW the bass is great
-
Overall a good speakei just wish the battery life was longer and the bass was stronger
-
Good bass clear kids bright highs.
-
The UE Boom 2 however, has noticeably less bass and seems to prefer voice and highs over low deep bass
-
excellent sound and nice bass
-
Bass doesn’t get distorted at high volumes
-
Superb Speaker, my dance instructors take their at their seminars and private sessions, that's how I got to see firsthand the amazing clarity and deep bass of the sound, no matter the environment
-
I used to have Fugoo Style speaker which had much better bass but could not get very loud.
-
This speaker does not have weak bass, it has NO BASS
-
only issue i have with it is lack of bass, but you cant expect great bass without size (subwoofer) a little pricey imo but still a good product
-
Weak bass but powerful
-
360 all around perfect bass sound
-
The sound quality and bass to BOOM 2 is extremely smooth
-
While the JBL charge 2+ tends to overwhelm the bass no matter what, the UE boom 2 is a much more balanced speaker and voices sound much more "real" when compared to the usually deeper sound you get from the JBLPros:LOUDsuperb sound quality across the range even at max volume with little distortion360 degree sound means you can put the speaker in any part of the roomCons:1
-
Poor bass response
-
Have the Bose mini soundlink speakers, the Boom has the same bass and depth of sound, with the addition of being waterproof
-
Bass is terrible
-
I absolute love this toy, good depth of sound and bass, really good clarity, no unnecessary noises
-
For such a small speaker, the bass is impressive
-
We use this inside as well as when we’re out at the beach and it is plenty loud for either
-
works as it should and good value.
-
Puts out sound as good as, if not better than, my Bose products.
-
Everything works as it should except that the Speaker won’t fully charge
-
but I still went ahead due to awesome reviews and UE’s market reputation
