Sound quality is very good, the "double up" feature is great, battery life is phenomenal.

The Megaboom does have the cool feature of being able to link with other Megabooms to create a lot of sound, but how many of your friends actually have one??

If the many features of the Megaboom, durability, and considerably longer battery life are really important to you, then I'd say it's a decent choice

This speaker is loud but not as clear sounding as i wanted and the bass is not as defined as i was wanting it is more punchy or midrange sounding but other than that it has nice features.
