Have not floated this yet, so can't speak to the water resistance factor

The waterproof flap can easily become compromised with sand - ensure the groove is dirt/sand free and really check that the flap is seated properly to ensure water resistance as my friend discovered the hard way

Built in bungee to tie it to just about anything, (backpacks, bikes, etc) and an included inflatable floatie for the pool, (yep, good enough water resistance to hold underwater and not come out worse for wear).-Battery life.

Works great and the water resistance works fine in the bathroom shower, have not tried it anywhere else yet!
