It had a few pros: the bass sounds really great, the hook meant that I could hang it from the awning of our deck and it projected like a hardwired speaker, and it was easy to connect and control from my phone

After a full day of testing, the bass from this device was great, but I can hear crackling from the treble at full volume

As an owner of the JBL Charge 3, I can say these have much crisper treble and the pairing gives a surround appeal that is lacking from the JBL.HOWEVER, if reaching rich clear deep bass is important to you, look to the JBL

One thing is that this is not a speaker for bass heads like me since it has more of a balanced audio output, but overall I completely content with my purchase.

This is the speaker I have been wanting all along ... amazing sound (great volume, sufficient bass, crisp, clear), very easy to use (smart button placement - on other models I have purchased they were all close and when I meant to raise the volume, I would disconnect the Bluetooth by accident, etc.) and still compact

It comes with a bright yellow USB cable which will be hard to loose, and worked as it should in both my laptop's USB port and a plug-in USB port

Does float, not a well as I'd

I use it mainly for outdoor pool time as well as when I’m in the shower and when I am combing my daughters hair she likes to listen to Adele

After I allowed the speaker some time to thaw after its three-day stint in the freezer it still works just as well as before

The color is perfect lol (black) which I like as it's understated but the colorful ones look cool as well!My gripes and why I took two stars off:The power-on and power-off sounds are always loud

Really disappointing as it wasn’t cheap and now it’s useless.

The sound was not distorted and the buttons worked as they should, despite the speaker being outside and the laptop being inside the house

I just wish the battery lasted longer as well as, I wish it had a battery signal indicating when the battery is low.
